Day 2: Saturday, June 21
With the field now in his possession General John Hunt Morgan sits quietly atop his horse and examines the surroundings.

Day 2: Saturday, June 21
Bugler Brett Bellamy marks the end of the fight in the traditional way, with the playing of taps to honor all soldiers who fell during the Civil War. A trooper from the 1st Kentucky Cavalry and Horse Artillery, with his hat removed as a sign of respect, sits next to Corporal Bellamy.

Day 2: Saturday, June 21
At the end of each battle the traditional Parade of Soldiers follows. The Confederate cavalry, with Col. Robinson of the Kentucky Cavalry Brigade in front, with Capt. Steve Glaze, leads the way as the command comes before the spectator crowd.

As the parade by the spectators mounted cavalrymen of the Kentucky Cavalry Brigade honor the spectators with a saber salute.

Having seen enough of rugged and rough looking men in battle, a return to the Kentucky Cavalry Brigade camp discovers this lovely young Southern belle!

The Southern music group Rebel Rising observed their first Civil War reenactment. In camp after the battle lead singer Johnny Reb gives his evaluation of the day's fight. Beside him is group manager Renee M.

In the camp of Gracey's Kentucky Battery was found this four generation (!) family, relaxing under the shade of a tent fly.

What happens when you let your members run around without a babysitter? Here we find the 1st Kentucky Cavalry's John McKibben in sutler row using  his special methods of "period communications."
