Greetings fellow KCB members. As many of you know WidoWorks has just started up as a sutler. I've just purchased a pavillion style tent, so next year will be bigger and better.

I am currently looking for a replacement for jeans wool, since Heritage Family Weavers is no longer producing it. I think I have found a suitable replacement. It is a hemp and yak wool blend. I'm waiting on swatches right now. The natural color of hemp cloth is grey and was used heavily by southern troops, especially for summer uniforms. Hemp cloth is stronger than cotton and so should be an excellent choice if your looking for a comfortable summer weight uniform.
