The Cavalryman (For lack of a better name)
By Ginny Richardson

He rode in the snow,
He fought in the rain.
He slept where only God knows,
He will never sleep the same.

The women swooned for him,
As he rode boldly in.
On that day he showed to them,
The bravery that lies within.

On the battlefield he fought,
For home and country too.
A damn good lesson he taught,
To the other rueful few.

Without his dedication,
Our country would sure need a hand.
He won without provocation,
He is a cavalryman.
